The Victorian Women's Golf League (VWGL) provides support and affiliation opportunities for ladies golf clubs playing at public golf courses. A not-for-profit organisation, the VWGL represents 40 clubs with more than 2100 active members. The VWGL provides an opportunity public courses golf clubs to have a say at state and national bodies (such as Women's Golf Victoria, Golf Victoria and Golf Australia.) The VWL also organises - eight golfing events a year
- a handicapped pennant competition for affiliated clubs
- philanthropic endeavours raised $90,000 in 2009
- standard policies and processes for running a golf club.
Bi-monthly meetings allow for updates on current issues and opportunity new women's golf networks.
